Performance and elegance
The Aston Martin DB2 drophead coupé, born from David Brown’s vision, brought the legendary Lagonda 2.6-litre six-cylinder engine, famously referred to as ‘the Bentley engine’, to life in a new sports car. Its Italian-inspired, timeless GT bodywork, designed by Frank Feeley, epitomises elegance. With more power and less weight, the sleek DB2 comfortably outperformed its predecessor. This Drophead Coupé, equipped with the powerful ‘Vantage’ VB6B engine, produces over 125bhp-plus, reaching speeds of 120 mph.
Autosport’s John Bolster described it as “a fast sports car of immense stamina.” The DB2 offered exceptional comfort, luxury, and ease of driving. Finished in Silver Green with a beige leather interior, the DB2 is the perfect car. “Whether going shopping, to the theatre, on a long-distance tour, or even racing at Le Mans.”
