Ducati 125cc Sport

Ducati’s 125cc Sport heralded the dawn of Fabio Taglioni’s iconic designs for Ducati’s road bikes. In 1957, the 125 Sport was launched to meet fans’ demand for a motorcycle designed in the image of the revered Gran Sport “Marianna,” the uncontested queen of endurance races like the Milano Taranto and Motogiro D’Italia. Earning the moniker “Modello Motogiro,” the 125 Sport shared the same technical prowess that characterized their racing counterparts; in its standard form, this jewel-like motorbike could achieve 75 and 95 mph with the factory race kit.
