A marriage of power and design
Unveiled at the 1973 Paris Salon, the 308 GT4 marked the end of the iconic “Dino” marque dating back to the 1967 Dino 206 GT. Breaking an exclusive collaboration with Pininfarina, the 308’s unique styling was created by Bertone. Sleek, modern, angular lines embraced a rear mid-mounted 2.9-litre V8 engine capable of clocking a top speed of 250 km/h.
The distinctive boomerang-shaped air intakes on the rear pillars, guiding air to the oil radiator and carburettor, stand out as just one of the many pleasing details. In 1976, the legendary Dino badge was finally replaced by Ferrari’s prancing horse emblem.
Meticulously restored, this 308 epitomises the essence of Ferrari’s mid-engined heritage, making it a must-have for any Ferrari enthusiast.
